COMPUTATIONAL DESIGN IN ADOBE INDESIGN USING BASIL.JS with Benedikt Gross

The short workshops tries to offer the participants an alternative starting point for creating books in Adobe Indesign with a computational design approach. During the crash course style workshop participants will gain basic knowledge to intervene, adjust and re-write their own ‘tools’ using the Basil.js. Basil.js is a port of the Processing language to Adobe Indesign (in Javascript), developed by the Basel School of Design and Benedikt Groß.
Requirements:
* own laptop with Indesign CS6 or newer
* very basic understanding of Processing or Javascript

* get the “Hello World” tutorial working on your machine http://basiljs.ch/tutorials/hello-world/
